
Economics alumnus Amedeo Cunsolo graduated from the University of Toronto in 2023 with a BCom in Accounting, Economics and Italian. He’s been to visit the Department of Economics just once since his convocation. That was in 2024 to collect the Noah Meltz Undergraduate Award in Labour Economics for coursework completed the previous year. He has been busy writing his accountancy exam, learning how to navigate the corporate world, and building a system to support language learners by leveraging AI. That language learning support tool, Cadentia, will be piloted at the University of Toronto and other universities this fall.
In other words, it’s all going according to plan, just on an accelerated timeline.
