Philip Oreopoulos’ University of Toronto Distinguished Professorship Award has been renewed for a second term. The distinguished professor program recognizes individuals with highly distinguished accomplishments who display exceptional promise, maintain an extraordinary level of activity in their research and scholarly work, and have achieved pre-eminence in their field. His full title, Distinguished Professor in Economics of Education Policy reflects Oreopoulos’ research focus on the use of computer assisted learning and tutoring to enhance the educational experiences of K12 students in local and international settings.
